The purpose of this bill is to require students in K through 12 to deposit their mobile phones in a secure container during instructional time; providing exceptions for students who may have a need for their mobile device (for example, students with diabetes or other medical conditions who require access to their cell phone for medical purposes) or have permission from a teacher to use the mobile device for educational purposes.

The purpose of this bill is to create a more consistent process when handling the sale of tax liens and nonentered, escheated and waste and unappropriated lands by providing all lands subject to sale under this article be certified before July 1; providing all land sales be completed within 150 days after the auditor has certified the lands; and clarifying payment shall be made to the sheriff of the county in which the property is situated.
