"An Act establishing the month of October as Filipino American History Month." 1
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 2
* Section 1. AS 44.12 is amended by adding a new section to read: 3
Sec. 44.12.152. Filipino American History Month. The month of October 4
each year is established as Filipino American History Month. Filipino American 5
History Month may be observed by schools, community groups, and other public and 6
private agencies and individuals with appropriate activities to honor and recognize the 7
contributions that Filipino Americans have made in the history of the state and the 8
United States. 9
