13 Relating to Montgomery County; to further provide
14 for a salary increase for the members of the Montgomery County
15 Commission.
16 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
17 Section 1. In Montgomery County, effective beginning
18 the next term of office of the county commission, each member
19 of the Montgomery County Commission shall be entitled to an
20 additional salary increase in the amount of one thousand
21 dollars ($1,000) per month. The salary increase provided by
22 this act shall be paid from the county general fund and shall
23 be in addition to any other salary, expense allowance, or
24 other compensation provided by law.
25 Section 2. This act shall become effective
26 immediately following its passage and approval by the
27 Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
