13 Relating to the City of Lineville in Clay County; to
14 authorize the sale of draft or keg beer under certain
15 conditions.
16 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
17 Section 1. This act shall only apply in the City of
18 Lineville in Clay County.
19 Section 2. The governing body of the City of
20 Lineville, by ordinance, may permit the sale of draft or keg
21 beer by retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control
22 Board for on-premises consumption and for off-premises
23 consumption. Beer sold for off-premises consumption may not
24 exceed 288 ounces per customer per day which must be sealed,
25 labeled, packaged, and taxed in accordance with state and
26 federal laws and regulations. The city council, by ordinance,
27 may otherwise regulate the sale of draft or keg beer by retail

2 municipality.
3 Section 3. This act shall become effective
4 immediately following its passage and approval by the
5 Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
