13 Relating to Bullock County; to provide for the
14 salary and expense allowance for the sheriff.
15 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
16 Section 1. The Sheriff of Bullock County shall be
17 entitled to receive an expense allowance in the amount of
18 twelve thousand dollars ($12,000) per annum, which shall be in
19 addition to all other expense allowances, compensation, or
20 salary provided by law paid in the same manner as other county
21 employees or officials, and may be treated as compensation for
22 retirement contributions. This expense allowance shall be
23 payable from the general fund of the county commencing upon
24 the first day following the effective date of this act.
25 Section 2. Beginning the next term of office, after
26 the effective date of this act, the annual salary for the
27 Sheriff of Bullock County shall be increased by twelve
Page 1 1 thousand dollars ($12,000) per annum, in addition to all other
2 expense allowances, compensation, or salary provided by law,
3 payable from the general fund of the county and, at that time,
4 Section 1 shall become void.
5 Section 3. This act shall become effective
6 immediately following its passage and approval by the
7 Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
