6 ENROLLED, An Act,
7 Relating to Bullock County; to provide for the
8 salary and expense allowance for the sheriff.
9 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
10 Section 1. The Sheriff of Bullock County shall be
11 entitled to receive an expense allowance in the amount of
12 twelve thousand dollars ($12,000) per annum, which shall be in
13 addition to all other expense allowances, compensation, or
14 salary provided by law paid in the same manner as other county
15 employees or officials, and may be treated as compensation for
16 retirement contributions. This expense allowance shall be
17 payable from the general fund of the county commencing upon
18 the first day following the effective date of this act.
19 Section 2. Beginning the next term of office, after
20 the effective date of this act, the annual salary for the
21 Sheriff of Bullock County shall be increased by twelve
22 thousand dollars ($12,000) per annum, in addition to all other
23 expense allowances, compensation, or salary provided by law,
24 payable from the general fund of the county and, at that time,
25 Section 1 shall become void.

2 immediately following its passage and approval by the
3 Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
