House Bill 180 as introduced will decrease receipts to the Agricultural Fund by an estimated
$20,000 annually due to changing the maximum amount of administrative costs the
Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries may deduct from the assessment on the sale of nuts,
bulbs, fruits, and vegetables from 5% (under current law) to 3%.
