House Bill 298 as introduced could increase the administrative obligations of the Attorney
General for the enforcement of certain consumer protections regarding device filters provided by
this bill; however, these obligations may be offset by any civil penalties, attorney's fees
investigation expenses that are recovered from violations of the provisions of this act and
retained by the Attorney General.
