House Bill 435 as passed the House of Representatives will increase the election expenses of
the state, paid from the State General Fund, by an estimated minimum of $396,000 for each
statewide election, beginning in Fiscal Year 2024, by increasing the state supplemental
compensation paid to election inspectors and clerks by $50 per day, pursuant to this bill.
