House Bill 58 as introduced would increase the administrative obligations of the Department of
Insurance to regulate lender-placed insurance on real property to as provided by this bill. This
could also increase receipts to the State General Fund, presumably, by an undetermined amount
for any monetary penalties collected pursuant to this bill.
