HR____ ACKNOWLEDGING THE DEDICATION OF BULLOCK COUNTY ROAD
52 IN MEMORY OF COMMISSIONER FRED CRAWFORD.
WHEREAS, the Bullock County Commission has honored
the service of Commissioner Fred Crawford by designating
County Road 52 in his memory; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Crawford was born on April 19,
in Saco, Alabama, and resided in Bullock County all his life
until his passing on February 12, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Crawford served on the Bullock
County Commission representing District 3 for 12 years; he
was a stabilizing influence among his peers and earned their
respect with his steadfast dedication to the residents of
Bullock County; and
WHEREAS, in honor of Commissioner Crawford's long
history of civic engagement and tireless work during his
tenure as District 3 Commissioner, the Bullock County
Commission has dedicated County Road 52 in his memory; now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That we gladly recognize Bullock
County's efforts in memorializing the upstanding citizen and
dedicated public servant, Commissioner Fred Crawford, and
offer this resolution as evidence of our high regard for the
commission and Commissioner Crawford.
