HR____ HONORING WOUNDED WARRIORS, SFC DANIEL BERRYMAN, SPC
JOSEPH SECREASE, SPC NICHOLAS KING, AND MSG JAMES WILLIAMS
FOR THEIR SACRIFICES WHILE SERVING AND PROTECTING THE UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA.
WHEREAS, with very special pleasure, we highly honor
wounded warriors, Sergeant First Class (SFC) Daniel
Berryman, Specialist (SPC) Joseph Secrease, Specialist (SPC)
Nicholas King, and Master Sergeant (MSG) James Williams for
their sacrifices while serving and protecting the United
States of America; and
WHEREAS, SFC Berryman was wounded in action during
Operation Enduring Freedom, and SPC Secrease, SPC King, and
MSG Williams were wounded in action during Operation Iraqi
Freedom; all four men are being honored by the foundation by
being taken on the 2023 Wounded Warriors in Action
Foundation's Alabama Turkey Hunt; the Wounded Warriors in
Action Foundation serves the nation's wounded veterans by
taking them on world class outdoor fishing and hunting trips
all over the United States; the foundation believes that the
outdoors will provide healing powers for the heroes; the
Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation's motto is, "Honor,

Connect, Heal"; and
WHEREAS, SFC Berryman, SPC Secrease, SPC King, and
MSG Williams are warmly appreciated and commended for their
steadfast bravery, profound heroism, and unwavering
selflessness, as well as the sacrifices that they made to
protect the lives of others; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That wounded warriors, Sergeant
First Class Daniel Berryman, Specialist Joseph Secrease,
Specialist Nicholas King, and Master Sergeant James Williams
are highly honored for their sacrifices while serving and
protecting the United States of America, and we hereby
dedicate this resolution to all four men with utmost
gratitude, admiration, and regard.
