Senate Bill 139 as introduced would decrease receipts to the State General Fund and Insurance
Department Fund by less than $1,000 annually, respectively, as estimated by the Department of
Insurance, due to: (1) the repeal of prelicensing course requirements, including the course
provider fee, set by the Commissioner of Insurance, of up $100; and (2) the prohibition of
issuance of new service representative licenses, which license fee is $70 biennially, as set by
statute.
