Senate Bill 169 as passed the Senate would reduce business license tax receipts of
municipalities that levy taxes based on gross receipts by an undetermined amount dependent on
the amount of federal, state, and local motor fuel excise taxes paid by businesses that would be
deducted from gross receipts for the calculation of municipal business license tax, as provided
by this bill. This bill will not otherwise affect state funding.
