Senate Bill 256 as introduced would authorize certain county commissions with an agricultural
authority incorporated prior to the effective date of this bill, to reallocate 70% of TVA in-lieu of
taxes payments received by the county commission to the agricultural authority, subject to
approval by majority vote of the local legislative delegation. This bill will not directly affect
state or local funding.
