Senate Bill 261 as introduced could increase the administrative obligations of the Attorney
General to seek to: (1) prohibit the adoption of federal laws, rules, and federal actions that may
penalize, inflict harm, or limit commercial relations or activities of a company or resident based
on economic boycott criteria; and (2) enforce the provisions of this bill.
In addition, this bill could increase the receipts to the State General Fund, by an undetermined
amount, dependent upon the number of companies that violate the provisions of this bill and the
amount of damages required to be paid, pursuant to the provisions of this bill.
