A BILL
TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
To alter, rearrange, and extend the boundary lines and
corporate limits of the City of Atmore in Escambia County.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
Section 1. The boundary lines and corporate limits of
the City of Atmore in Escambia County are altered, rearranged,
and extended to include within the corporate limits of the
municipality, in addition to the lands now included, all of
the following territory:
ATMORE ANNEXATION DESCRIPTION:
Beginning at a point 20 South, and 210 feet East of the
Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 17,
Township 1 North, Range 6 East, Escambia County, Alabama, said
point being on the South right of way line of West Sunset
Drive and the Northern line of the existing Atmore City
Limits; thence run North 40 feet to a point on the North right
of way line of West Sunset Drive; thence run West along said
right of way 190 feet, more or less, to the East right of way
line of Henderson Lane; thence run Northwardly along said
right of way 825 feet, more or less, to the West line of the
aforementioned Section 17; thence continue along said West
line of Section 17 to the Northwest corner of said Section 17;
thence run North along the West line of Section 8, Township 1

Section 2. In accordance with Section 11-42-6(b) of the

to be annexed to the City of Atmore is on file in the Office
of the Judge of Probate in Escambia County, Alabama, and the
map is open to the inspection of the public.
Section 3. This act shall become effective on the

first day of the third month following its passage and
approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
