House Bill 314 as passed the House of Representatives would expand the eligibility for the
current firefighter distinctive license plate to include the issuance of one plate to certain fire
chaplains. This bill would require the additional annual $1 fee collected for firefighter
distinctive license plates issued to fire chaplains to be distributed to the Alabama Fellowship of
Fire Chaplains.
This bill would also increase the administrative obligations of the Department of Revenue to
carry out the provisions of this bill.
