House Bill 389 as reported by the Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security could
increase receipts to the State General Fund by $10,000 per violation for any civil penalties
levied for violation of the Second Amendment Financial Privacy Act.
This bill could also increase receipts to the Attorney General's Litigation Support Fund by an
undetermined amount depending on the amount of attorney's fees and other reasonable court
costs recovered from such civil action.
