House Bill 390 as introduced would transfer certain responsibilities regarding the licensure and
regulation of the cultivation of cannabis from the Alabama Department of Agriculture and
Industries (AGI) to the Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission (AMCC) which would increase
the obligations of the AMCC by an estimated $195,000 annually to inspect culivators and
correspondingly dcrease the obligations of the AGI by an estimated $195,000 annually.
