Senate Bill 100 as introduced would require all loan repayments, fees, gifts, donations, grants
and bequests received by the Board of Medical Scholarship Awards to be deposited into the
newly createdBoard of Medical Scholarship Awards Fund established in the State Treasury
pursuant to the provisions of this bill. This bill would further require that any monies deposited
into the fund be continuously appropriated for the purposes of the program.
Additionally, this bill would increase the administrative obligations of the Board to establish
fiscal requirements for its annual administration expenses which, pursuant to the provisions of
this bill, may be paid from any source of funds available to the board.
