Senate Bill 106as passed the Senate could increase the obligations of the Department of
Commerce, beginning in Fiscal Year 2024, by an undetermined amount dependent upon the
difference in (1) the current salary of the Secretary of Commerce and deputy secretaries; and (2)
any new salaries set pursuant to the provisions of this bill.
