FN-8X3CFFH-2 Page 1 FISCAL NOTE Senate Bill 162 Committee: Boards, Agencies and CommissionsSponsor: Senator Will Barfoot Analyst: Peter Grogan Date: 03/29/2024 Senate Bill 162 as passed the Senate would add two at-large members to the Study Commission on Interagency Cooperation and Collaboration on the Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Formerly Incarcerated Individuals, which could increase the obligations of the Legislature, paid from the State General Fund, to reimburse the two additional members of the Commission for necessary expenses incurred in attending meetings of the Commission, by an estimated maximum of $675 per meeting. However, pursuant to existing law, meeting expenses of the Commission are capped at $5,000.
