Senate Bill 162 (Act 2024-404) as enacted adds four additional members to the Study
Commission on Interagency Cooperation and Collaboration on the Rehabilitation and
Reintegration of Formerly Incarcerated Individuals, which will increase the obligations of the
Legislature, paid from the State General Fund, to reimburse the four additional members of the
Commission for necessary expenses incurred in attending meetings of the Commission, by an
estimated maximum of $1,350 per meeting. However, pursuant to existing law, meeting
expenses of the Commission are capped at $5,000.
