Senate Bill 39 as reported by the Committee on State Governmental Affairs would require
certain state-owned dams and reservoirs to be inspected by an engineer at least once every five
years, provided that sufficient funds, either through Legislative appropriation or grant funds,
have been obtained by the participating owner of the state-owned dam or reservoir.
