Senate Bill 48 as reported by the Committee on Education Policy would increase the
administrative obligations of: (1) the local boards of education to post each school's adopted
curricula for each class on the school's website; (2) the local superintendents of education to
verify and/or post adopted curricula of certain schools on the website, receive complaints of
non-compliance of teachers, and file annually with the State Superintendent of Education the
number of complaints received regarding non-compliance with the provisions of this bill; and
(3) the State Superintendent of Education to post adopted curricula of certain schools on the
website, and receive and report the number of complaints received pursuant to the provisions of
this bill.
