Senate Bill 77 as reported by the Committee on Boards, Agencies, and Commissions could
increase the obligations of the Department of Archives and History by an estimated $706 per
board meeting to reimburse the per diem and travel expenses of the four additional members
appointed to the department's board of trustees pursuant to this bill. However, historically, board
members have not claimed per diem and travel expenses, according to the department.
