House Bill 157 as passed the House of Representatives could increase the obligations of several
counties, beginning in Fiscal Year 2025, by an undetermined amount dependent upon any
increase in compensation of certain county positions equal to the compensation of the prior
officeholder of that position, including any uniform increases received by the prior officeholder.
