House Bill 191 as passed the House of Representatives could increase sales and use tax receipts
to certain county and municipal governments beginning in Fiscal Year 2026 by an undetermined
amount dependent upon the amount of local sales and use tax that would otherwise have been
exempt under current law but would expire on September 1, 2025 due to the provisions of this
bill. This bill would not otherwise affect state or local funding.
