House Bill 276as introduced could increase the administrative obligations of the Attorney
General to pursue deceptive trade practice actions under the provisions of this bill, which could
be offset by any civil penalties received by the Attorney General for violating the Deceptive
Trade Practices Act under the provisions of this bill.
Finally, this bill could increase the administrative obligations of the State Department of
Education to develop recommended guidelines for the implementation of curriculum and to
develop and maintain a resource bank of information pertaining to the inpact of social media use
by minors.
