House Bill 317 as introduced could increase the administrative obligations of the Attorney
General for the enforcement of certain consumer protections regarding age verification, parental
notification, and data protection, as provided by this bill; however, these obligations may be
offset by any damages or attorney's fees that are recovered from violators of the provisions of
this bill and retained by the Attorney General.
