A BILL
TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
Relating to Russell County; to repeal Act No. 859 of
the 1969 Regular Session (Acts 1969, Vol. II, p. 1565),
providing for distribution of a portion of the county's share
of the state gasoline excise tax to the incorporated
municipalities in the county.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
Section 1. Act No. 859 of the 1969 Regular Session
(Acts 1969, Vol. II, p. 1565), providing for distribution of a
portion of Russell County's share of the state gasoline excise
tax to the incorporated municipalities in the county, is
repealed.
Section 2. This act shall become effective on October
1, 2025.
