House Bill 469 as introduced could increase the obligations of the Public Education Employees'
Health Insurance Board and State Employees' Insurance Board by an estimated $2.5 million and
$5.3 million annually, respectively, due to the minimum reimbursement rate set by this bill for
health insurers to pay out-of-network ground ambulance providers.
