House Bill 473 as reported by the Committee on Boards, Agencies, and Commissions could
increase the administrative obligations of certain water and sewer boards to hold public hearings
relating to the closure or restriction of recreational use of public water bodies. This bill could
also increase the administrative obligations of local circuit courts to hear appeals against
restrictions and closures of public water bodies.
