This bill would provide that it is unlawful during a declared emergency for any person to impose unconscionable prices for the provision of any service. A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT Relating to consumer protection; to amend Section 8-31-3, Code of Alabama 1975; to further provide for the prohibition of unconscionable prices during a declared emergency. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1.
