House Bill 600 as reported by the Committee on Ways and Means Education would exempt the
Alabama School of Healthcare Sciences Foundation from paying any state, county and
municipal sales and use tax receipts beginning June 1, 2025, which would decrease sales and
use tax receipts to the following funds by the following estimated amounts, beginning in fiscal
year 2025, due to an ongoing capital project based on information provided by the Foundation:
Education Trust Fund $1,380,000
County Funds $1,035,000
Municipal Funds $1,035,000
Total $3,450,000
