BARRON. WHEREAS, with an overwhelming sense of loss, we mourn the death, yet celebrate the life, of Henry A. Barron of Montgomery, Alabama, whose passing on February 28, 2025, has left a void in the lives of his loving family and friends and the entire community, where he was highly regarded ; and WHEREAS, Mr. Henry A. Barron was a man of great integrity, wisdom, and dedication, who devoted his life to the service of others through education, military service, and civic engagement; and WHEREAS, he was a distinguished scholar, earning a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Alabama State University, as well as an Associate in Arts from Auburn University; and WHEREAS, he dedicated over three decades to shaping young minds and guiding future leaders as a teacher, football coach, and administrator in the field of education, serving at Eufaula High School, Elmore County High School, Millbrook Middle School, Holtville High School, and Stanhope Elmore High School, where he retired in 2007 as an assistant principal; and WHEREAS, Mr. Barron honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970, stationed in 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 HR122 INTRODUCED Page 2 the United States Army from 1968 to 1970, stationed in Korea, and continued his service in the Army Reserve from 1971 to 1997, where he was mobilized for Operation Desert Storm, retiring with the rank of E-8 Master Sergeant as an instructor for 92A (Unit Supply); and WHEREAS, he was a lifelong member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, dedicating over 50 years to the organization, holding numerous leadership roles, including Chapter President of Alpha Upsilon Lambda, Recording Secretary, Parliamentarian, and various leadership positions in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast, where he served as Chair from 2015 to 2020; and WHEREAS, he was a faithful and devoted member of Hutchinson Missionary Baptist Church for 60 years, serving as a Deacon and working diligently to uplift his congregation and community; and WHEREAS, left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia C. Barron; children, Brent Barron and Brandon Barron; grandchildren, Aubrey Bradley, Rashad Barron, Brandi Barron, Kennedy Barron, and Joshua Sanders; brother, Abraham Barron; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends; and WHEREAS,a valued member of the community and loved by many, his service to others and his passion for life will be remembered fondly; we join with others to celebrate his life and to mourn his death; although his presence will be greatly missed, the memory of Mr. Barron will be c herished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him ; now therefore, 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 51 52 53 54 55 HR122 INTRODUCED Page 3 in the hearts of all who knew and loved him ; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the death of Mr. Henry A.
