HR____ COMMENDING THE ARTHUR HAROLD PARKER HIGH SCHOOL
FOOTBALL TEAM FOR WINNING THE ALABAMA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC
ASSOCIATION CLASS 6A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP ON DECEMBER 6, 2024.
WHEREAS, highest congratulations are hereing proudly
presented to the A.H. Parker High School Varsity Football
Team for winning the Alabama High School Athletic
Association (AHSAA) Class 6A State Championship Title on
December 6, 2024, at Protective Stadium in Birmingham,
Alabama; and
WHEREAS, for the first time in the school's storied
125-year history, the Thundering Herd football program is
now known by a new title: State Champions; through teamwork,
diligence, and a commitment to excellence, the A.H. Parker
High School Football Team gave an incredible performance and
defeated Saraland High School 28-17; and
WHEREAS, the A.H. Parker High School Varsity Football
Team's outstanding season was accomplished under the expert
coaching and guidance provided by Head Coach Frank Warren;
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the Arthur Harold Parker High
School Varisty Football Team is hereby commended and
congratulated on their outstanding victory in the AHSAA 2024
Class 6A State Championship.
