HR____ RECOGNIZING SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2025, AS COLUMBIANA
BAPTIST KINDERGARTEN'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY DAY.
WHEREAS, Sunday, February 23, 2025, marks the
celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Columbiana Baptist
Kindergarten, which is under the leadership of Reverend Mike
Miller; and
WHEREAS, we give honor for the abiding Christian
commitment of those who in faith began the work, who have
given so unselfishly to help the work thrive, and who have
provided service where the need was great; and
WHEREAS, we are grateful for the vision and
leadership of those who laid the foundation for Columbiana
Baptist Kindergarten in 1975 alongside First Baptist Church
of Columbiana; and
WHEREAS, Columbiana Baptist Kindergarten has served
and continues to serve thousands of families with children
in the community and the surrounding Columbiana area; and
WHEREAS, the community has benefited from the
influence of Columbiana Baptist Kindergarten and the
directors, staff, and leadership who have served 50 years
with hearts full of faith, hope, and love, giving all to the
glory of God; and
WHEREAS, it is a privilege to be able to extend the
expression of our esteem and best wishes to Columbiana

expression of our esteem and best wishes to Columbiana
Baptist Kindergarten and First Baptist Church of Columbiana
on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the kindergarten;
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That Sunday, February 23, 2025,
shall be known as Columbiana Baptist Kindergarten's 50th
Anniversary Day in the State of Alabama, and this resolution
is offered with heartiest congratulations in deepest
admiration and appreciation, along with sincere best wishes
for continued success.
