HR____ HONORING THE MEMBERS OF THE CHEROKEE COUNTY RESCUE
SERVICE, INCORPORATED.
WHEREAS, with great pride and special pleasure, we
honor the members of the Cherokee County Rescue Service,
Incorporated, for service to their community; and
WHEREAS, Cherokee County Rescue Service,
Incorporated, is an all-volunteer rescue service whose
members are dedicated to keeping their community safe; it is
a member of the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads; and
WHEREAS, five of these volunteer members have
generously given of their time and efforts for 50 years, and
we would like to extend special recognition to them: Jimmy
Morrison, 1974-2024; James Wainwright, 1974-2024; Ronald
Money, 1974-2024; Tommy McDaniel, 1974-2024; and John A.
Roberts, 1974-2024; and
WHEREAS, for 50 years, these volunteers have served
as worthy role models in their community and brought honor
and respect to the Cherokee County Rescue Service; and
WHEREAS, the people of Cherokee County are fortunate
to be served by individuals who display special care and
concern for the safety and well-being of the community, and
who possess the competence, drive, and determination to
succeed in their efforts; now therefore,

succeed in their efforts; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That the volunteer members of the
Cherokee County Rescue Service, Incorporated, are honored
and commended, and this resolution serves as evidence of our
high esteem and regard for the volunteers who selflessly
work to keep their community safe.
