HR____ COMMENDING KENDRA WILLIAMS ON ATTAINING THE RANK OF
EAGLE SCOUT.
WHEREAS, commendations and congratulations are herein
extended to Kendra Williams from Scout Troop 10G on
attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in
Scouts BSA; and
WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout Award, earned by only a
small percentage of Scouts, involves the completion of an
Eagle Scout Project and represents many years of diligence
in pursuit of a worthy goal that brings honor to the Scout,
the troop, and the Scout's family; and 
WHEREAS, Scout Kendra Williams has demonstrated
exceptional commitment to these principles through her
diligent efforts and determination, culminating in the
attainment of the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout; and 
WHEREAS, Scout Kendra Williams' Eagle Scout Project
involved leading a team of volunteers in assisting the
Jasper Area Family Services with landscaping and property
management projects at the newly renovated Head Start
building, formerly North Highlands School; her efforts
contributed to making the outside and inside of the facility
equally inviting for young children; and
WHEREAS, Scout Kendra Williams joined Troop 10G in
2019 and has earned 24 Merit Badges, including Citizenship

2019 and has earned 24 Merit Badges, including Citizenship
in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in
Society, and Citizenship in the World; she has earned the
Polar Bear Patch twice for camping in less than 32 
Fahrenheit, and the NOVA Award, which is awarded to Scouts
for achieving excellence in the pursuit of STEM; and
WHEREAS, through the years, Scout Kendra Williams has
exhibited those hard-earned characteristics of
trustworthiness, self discipline, and good citizenship, all
components of the Scouts BSA program; with the guidance and
support of her Scout leaders, she has earned the esteem of
her community, fellow Scouts, and all Alabamians; now
therefore, 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, That we extend our sincere
congratulations to Scout Kendra Williams and express our
deep appreciation for her outstanding service to the
community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this
resolution be provided to Scout Kendra Williams as an
expression of our admiration for her accomplishments and our
best wishes for continued success in all her future
endeavors.
