Senate Bill 213 as reported by the Committee on Finance and Taxation Education would
decrease receipts annually to the Education Trust Fund, beginning in Fiscal Year 2026, by an
undetermined amount dependent upon the amount of energy used or consumed in poultry houses
currently, which would now be exempt from the utility gross receipts tax and the utility service
use tax.
