Senate Bill 245 as introduced would increase the obligations of: (1) the Alabama Medicaid
Agency, by an agency-estimated minimum of $2.7 million in state share dollars, to redetermine
eligibility monthly for certain Medicaid benefit recipients pursuant to the provisions of this bill;
and (2) the Alabama Department of Human Resources, by an agency-estimated minimum of
$12.7 million, to redetermine eligibility monthly for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance
Program pursuant to the provisions of this bill.
