Senate Bill 55 as passed the Senate could increase receipts to the State General Fund and
municipal general funds from fines, and increase receipts to the State General Fund, county
general funds, municipal general funds, and other funds to which court costs are deposited by an
undetermined amount dependent upon the number of citations issued to non resident
undocumented immigrants driving in Alabama without a valid driver license, pursuant to the
provisions of this bill.
In addition, this bill would increase the administrative obligations of the Alabama State Law
Enforcement Agency and the Alabama Department of Transportation to comply with the
provisions of this bill.
