BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 21

SECTION 1. Arkansas Code § 27 -70-207(a), concerning the definitions 23
relating to the distribution of county aid funds and municipal aid funds, is 24
amended to read as follows: 25
(a) As used in this section ,: 26
(1) "General revenue" means any revenue depo sited into a general 27
fund account that is not: 28
(A) Restricted by the source of that revenue; or 29
(B) Transferred from another municipal fund account; and 30
(2) “public Public transportation” means a conveyance of human 31
passengers by bus, van, or any other ground surface vehicle that is: 32
(1)(A) Provided to the general public or selected 33
groups of the public on a regular or continuing basis; and 34
(2)(B) Operated by a city, county, or any other 35
person or entity under a contract or agreement with a city or county. 36
