BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 20

SECTION 1. Arkansas Code ยง 23 -79-2105 is amended to read as follows: 22
23-79-2105. Applicability. 23
(a) This Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, this 24
subchapter applies to a group health benefit plan or offered in connection 25
with a group health plan that provides coverage of a prescription drug under 26
a policy that meets the definition of a medication step therapy protocol 27
whether or not the policy is described as a step therapy protocol. 28
(b) This subchapter does not apply to antipsychotic prescription 29
drugs. 30
