BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 22

SECTION 1. Arkansas Code Title 15, Chapter 71, Subchapter 1, is 24
amended to add an additional section to read as follows: 25
15-71-119. Notification requirements. 26
(a) The Oil and Gas Commission shall notify in writing a member of the 27
General Assembly when the commission is holding a public hearing required by 28
law on a project or permit in the member's district. 29
(b) The written notice required under subsection (a) of this section 30
shall include information regarding the: 31
(1) Project or permit that is the subject of the public hearing; 32
and 33
(2) Date, time, and location of the public hearing. 34
