THE PROCEDURE THE COMMISSIONER OF STATE LANDS MUST 12 
FOLLOW IN SELLING CERTAIN PROPERTY; AND FOR OTHER 13 
PURPOSES. 14

ONLINE; AND TO AMEND THE PROCEDURE THE 20 
COMMISSIONER OF STATE LANDS MUST FOLLOW 21 
IN SELLING CERTAIN PROPERTY. 22

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 24

 SECTION 1.  Arkansas Code § 26-37-202(b)(1)(B), concerning the 26 
procedure to sell tax -delinquent property, is amended to read as follows: 27 
 (B)  The Commissioner of State Lands may conduct a tax-28 
delinquent property auction or an unsold-property auction under subdivision 29 
(b)(1)(A) of this section online. 30

 SECTION 2.  Arkansas Code § 26 -37-202(e)(1)(A), concerning the 32 
procedure to sell tax -delinquent property, is amended to read as follows: 33 
 (e)(1)(A)  If a tax-delinquent parcel is to be offered at an in-person 34 
a tax-delinquent property auction, then at least thirty (30) calendar days 35 
before the date of the sale the Commissioner of State Lands shall notify the 36    	SB310

owner and all interested parties by regular mail of the right to redeem the 1 
parcel before 4:00 p.m. central standard time (CST) on the last business day 2 
before the date of the sale by paying all taxes, penalties, interest, and 3 
costs due, including the cost of the notice. 4

 SECTION 3.  Arkansas Code § 26 -37-202(e)(3)(A), concerning the 6 
procedure to sell tax -delinquent property, is amended to read as follows: 7 
 (3)(A)  If a parcel subject to subdivision (e)(1)(A) of this 8 
section is not redeemed by the deadline stated in subdivision (e)(1)(A) of 9 
this section, the parcel shall be offered for sale at an in-person a tax-10 
delinquent auction, and if sold, a limited warranty deed shall be issued by 11 
the Commissioner of State Lands to the purchaser. 12
