AN ACT TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING CERTAIN REPORTS OF 9 
OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING ENTITIES; TO REPEAL THE LAW 10 
REQUIRING OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING ENTITIES TO SUBMIT A 11 
REPORT CONCERNING THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS GRANTED 12 
AUTOMATIC OCCUPATIONAL LICENSURE AND EXPEDITED 13 
OCCUPATIONAL LICENSURE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 14

Subtitle 17 
TO REPEAL THE LAW REQUIRING OCCUPATIONAL 18 
LICENSING ENTITIES TO SUBMIT A REPORT 19 
CONCERNING THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS 20 
GRANTED AUTOMATIC OCCUPATIONAL LICENSURE 21 
AND EXPEDITED OCCUPATIONAL LICENSURE. 22

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 24 
 25 
 SECTION 1.  Arkansas Code § 17 -4-110 is amended to read as follows: 26 
 17-4-110.  Responsibilities of occupational licensing entities. 27 
 An occupational licensing entity shall: 28 
 (1)  Submit proposed rules authorized under § 17-4-106 to the 29 
Administrative Rules Subcommittee of the Legislative Council for review and 30 
approval before the proposed rules are promulgated under the Arkansas 31 
Administrative Procedure Act, § 25 -15-201 et seq.; 32 
 (2)  If the proposed rules are not approved as required under § 33 
17-4-109, provide automatic occupational licensure to an individual listed in 34 
§ 17-4-104; and 35 
 (3)  Post prominently on the occupational licensing entity's 36    	SB387

website a link entitled “Military Member Licensure” that directly leads to 1 
information applicable to an individual listed in § 17 -4-104; and 2 
 (4)  Provide to the House Committee on Aging, Children and Youth, 3 
Legislative and Military Affairs an annual report stating the number of 4 
individuals granted automatic occupational licensure and expedited 5 
occupational licensure under this chapter . 6
