BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 22

SECTION 1. Arkansas Code Title 23, Chapter 79, Subchapter 1, is 24
amended to add an additional section to read as follows: 25
23-79-169. Deductibles — Disclosure required. 26
(a) An insurance policy for residential property insurance issued or 27
renewed in this state shall disclose, as applicable, on the policy 28
declaration page or notice of renewal of the policy all deductibles included 29
under the policy in a clear and conspicuous manner so that the insured can 30
identify any applicable deductibles under the policy or renewal. 31
(b) An insurance policy for residential property insurance issued or 32
renewed in this state that contains separate deductible levels by peril shall 33
display these deductible amounts together with the policy's all other peril 34
deductible, if applicable, on the policy declaration page or notice of 35
renewal of the policy. 36
